and the itinerary for the night:
Fashion for a Night of Fun in New York City

Going on a trip is a great excuse to get a few new clothes. While I’m excited about my upcoming trip to New York City, I’m a little nervous about my look for the occasion. During our time there, my friends and I will be enjoying a night out at The Standard High Line Hotel. I want to turn heads in this city that has a reputation for influencing the world’s fashion industry, but I need a style update for this stay in one of NYC best hotels. After all, I am the mom of three young children, and I don’t always manage to keep up with the latest trends. Will you give me your recommendations? First, here’s some information about the venue where I’ll be spending my night in the city that never sleeps:

Le Bain

Sometimes a girl just needs to go dancing. I’ll be doing that as well as enjoying breathtaking views of the New York skyline when my friends and I visit Le Bain. Described as a penthouse discothѐque, this club on the rooftop of The Standard High Line Hotel features renowned DJs spinning tunes on a state-of-the-art audio system. In the summer, the club features a seasonal plunge pool on the dance floor to keep things cool. When my friends and I need to take a break from dancing, we can enjoy a snack from the crêperie located in the club.

New York City Style

New York City has a style that is recognized the world over. I’m excited to be getting your feedback concerning what to wear on my night in Manhattan. Travel today often goes more smoothly because of the way in which technology allows us to interact with others. In fact, I’ve planned my New York City excursion with the help of travel experts at Gogobot. They’re the ones that recommended a visit to The Standard High Line Hotel, and I think their recommendations are spot on. All this creative collaboration is working together to make a quick visit to New York City a memorable occasion for me and my friends.

For me, New York City is a show, and hey, who wouldn't love to live in a show where you are the director? Especially in a city so full of life, where you are reborn every day.

New York City's fashion scene inspired me to create Kendra's look, with the Unique style reflected in every detail. Fashion trends come and go, but in this city it is possible to find every trend, all the time and all in one place, and that is what makes it so incredible.
the main bold trends this season are floral and mix&match.
With help from Polyvore, I created two looks for Kendra. I chose to create not one, but two looks, because it is impossible to relax knowing there is only one option for a critical moment. Yes-I meant critical. A night like this is critical.

Both looks are feminine and classy-but with a twist-just right for the City.

The first look is romantic and sophisticated:

The second screams sexy and chic:

as a fashion stylist I would advice on the second look, yet, it is a metter of choosing in the moment vibe.both are bright, glamorous, and fresh for summer.
So, dear Kendra, I hope you'll like my looks and elect to wear one of them. Enjoy your trip!
